SASSA Grant Payments November 2025: Updated Amounts, Pay Dates & Beneficiary Guide

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has released the official grant payment schedule for November 2025, thereby offering a clear indication to social assistance recipients of when their money will come in. Every month, the grant cycle starts with Older Persons, then proceeds to Disability, Child Support, and finally, Foster Care grants. It is highly recommended that the beneficiaries constantly keep their contact details correct so that they can receive the SMS alerts and communications without any delay.

The schedule shows that the earliest date for the payment of Older Persons grants will be Tuesday, 4 November 2025. After that, Disability grants will come on Wednesday, 5 November 2025, and payments of Child Support & Foster Care grants are scheduled for Thursday, 6 November 2025. The staggered timing not just enables the regulation of the crowd at the payment points in a better way but also facilitates processing to be smoother.

Updated Grant Amounts For November

Beneficiaries will see a reflection of the recent increases in most grant categories in their November 2025 payments. The monthly amount for older persons will be between R2,210 and R2,230, and R2,210 will also be the amount set for Disability and Care Dependency grants. The payment for Children Support Grant is set at R530 and R1,190 for Foster Children grants.

The beneficiary amounts are a continuation of previous adjustments aimed at maintaining grants’ sensitivity to the cost of living pressures. The SASSA’s official website and the Moya App are some of the ways beneficiaries can verify these figures. The Moya App even has a feature that permits users to see grant updates without using any data charges.

Eligibility & Application Tips

In the case of November 2025 payments, the eligible candidates must be the ones who are permanent South African citizens or residents, and also meet the income and dependency thresholds that correspond with the grant. It is very important for the applicants to verify that their ID, banking details, and residential information are correct in SASSA’s database in order to prevent any delays.

Re-application is required only if a grant has expired, been put on hold, or if no application was made in the first place. Those beneficiaries who do not receive any payment notifications by the expected dates are encouraged to contact SASSA through the helpline or to go to their closest branch for help.

How To Check Your November Payment Status

Beneficiaries have the right to check their payments status for November 2025 through SASSA’s official online channels. Generally, the steps involve inputting your ID number along with your mobile number on either SASSA or SRD portal, and the next thing is that the system will inform you whether your payment has been processed or it is still waiting for action. The Moya App is another alternative that gives grant status updates with no data cost incurred.

In the case that status checks reveal that there are delays, SASSA or the respective branchis suggested to be the contact point for the applicants seeking guidance on the necessary corrective actions.
